Chapman Engineering Services Ltd is a family business that has been operating Nationwide since 2018. The company was set up by Jamie and Rebecca Chapman and has had major success securing a great range of contracts and feedback from our customers.

Since 2018, our small company has grown and we are now able to offer even more coverage across the UK. Our Staff have over 80 years of combined experience allowing us to deliver an impeccable service.

At Chapman Engineering Services Ltd, we pride ourselves on our reputation and our attention to detail. Our team has an extensive skillset and a widespread experience when it comes to supporting our customer base.

JAMIE CHAPMAN

Jamie Chapman is one of the Directors of CES and brings over 25 years of invaluable experience in the engineering sector. Prior to founding Chapman Engineering Services, Jamie worked with leading companies such as ETS (UK) Ltd, T.C. Harrison JCB, and Liebherr GB, where he gained a broad and diverse skill set.

With extensive experience working on a wide range of mobile machinery, Jamie has hands-on expertise with everything from 1.5T to 125T excavators, rigid mining dump trucks, and 1350T crawler cranes. His deep technical knowledge and vast experience make him a key driving force behind CES's success and growth.

REBECCA CHAPMAN

As one of CES's Directors, Rebecca has an extensive knowledge of Business Acumen. She expertly manages both the financial and commercial aspects of the business, ensuring the company runs smoothly and effectively. In addition to her strategic leadership, Rebecca plays an active role in overseeing our parts ordering and deliveries, ensuring everything stays on track. Her diverse skill set and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of the CES team.

ANDREW PATERSON

Andrew joined CES in 2020. Andrew is one of the key members of our Team, bringing vast experience and expertise to CES. He began his career as an apprentice at John Deere, and since then, he has evolved into a highly skilled Service Engineer with an extensive knowledge of equipment from a wide range of manufacturers. Andrew has developed particular expertise in the waste and recycling sectors, making him an invaluable asset to our team.

Chloe Thrupp

Chloe joined CES in 2024 as our Service Coordinator/Admin Assistant. With a background as a qualified Transport Manager and 10 years of experience in HGV Logistics, Chloe brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Chloe plays a key role in coordinating our engineers, managing parts orders, and serving as the primary point of contact for customer queries. Her strong organisational skills and experience in logistics ensure that everything runs smoothly, and our customers receive the best service possible.

Jason Turner

Jason joined the team in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the heavy plant industry. With a background working across the UK and Scotland on opencast coal sites, Jason has operated a wide range of machinery, including 300T excavators and CAT 777 dump trucks.

Before joining CES, Jason worked for a large recycling company, where he was responsible for maintaining a diverse range of plant and equipment, including shredders, material handlers, forklift trucks, and machinery from various manufacturers. His extensive experience in both the heavy plant and recycling sectors makes him an invaluable addition to our team. 

Sam Calam

Sam is our Field Service Engineer Apprentice. He has recently completed his level 3 NVQ in Engineering Technologies and will be enrolling onto a Land-Based Service Engineer course in September 2025. Sam is eager to grow and learn and shows a strong interest in engineering. We’re thrilled to support Sam on his journey and look forward to seeing the incredible things he will achieve with us!

Alex Spencer

Alex joined our team in 2025 as a Field Service Engineer. Alex began his career in 2011 when he started his apprenticeship in the piling industry, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. He went on to achieve a Level 3 NVQ in Plant Maintenance and a Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, setting a strong foundation for his future in engineering.

After completing his apprenticeship, Alex spent five years working as a Field Service Engineer, further honing his technical expertise. He then expanded his experience by joining Network Rail, where he spent four years as part of the High Output Team, working on the BCS Ballast Cleaning Train. His time at Network Rail allowed him to work on complex railway projects, strengthening his skills in high-pressure environments.

With his diverse background, Alex makes fantastic addition to our team, bringing both technical knowledge and a passion for engineering excellence.
